When I was in Idaho (Boise area) they were called speed tables.... and were massive

I actually learned the difference after posting this. Speed tables are the ones with a long flat bit in the middle, whereas humps are the ones pictured and bumps are the usually-not-asphalt ones you find in car parks that are high and short.
